In USA or in France: Zero tolerance = maximum humiliation
One more stupid story generate by the Bush system, 0,0001 g of madness in a crazy world. As long as the Bush system survive, I don’t want to go to AmeriKKKa , sorry for my so cool American friends.
But if I really have to travel there, it will cost me a new equipment, including laptop, cell phone, shoes ... all things able to hide 0,0001 g of unexpected cannabis. Or may be I’m to much libertarian (European style) to accept this fucking control and I will try an illegal entrance with a ship from Antilles islands like French rum bootleggers during Prohibition, or to cross the Rio Grande like Latinos wetback, or to rush on iced lakes from Canada with a big bombardier skidoo. In all cases, I will bring more than 0,0001 g of cannabis. I want to have a true reason to undergo all humiliations of this kafkaian system.
Humiliation, no future, zero tolerance and war on drugs users are also the basement of the French riots. If the government really want to impulse a new politic in ghettos, he must regulate the drugs market. It will decrease the power of gangs and distress the relationship between users and cops. With a smart system of production and distribution of cannabis, it could be possible to create a lot of job for the black market actors and low qualify workers.
During the golden age of Swiss hemp, around 20,000 workers coming mainly from street dealing, unemployment and social services, handicapped people, poor farmers ... integrated the legal system. They were restored in their full citizenship, with rights and obligations. If you apply this amount to France, we are discussing about 200.000 jobs without any subvention. That would put an end to 30 years of discrimination, especially in ghettos, and would reinstate billion euros in the official economy. Who has a better proposal ?
We must put the cannabis regulation in the present French debate. The left wing could accept this argument more easily now. It’s the more realistic program but it’s also a big risk. The extreme right wing and a lot of opportunist politicians promote the Amerikkka way of life with big success. We have few weeks to refine the model and to find solids alliances before facing the media and French opinion. Just do it.
